I learned about the impact of graphic design at my vocational school, where I was tasked to create my first ever advertisement. This was a hard task for me; someone who thought all art had to be intricate and detailed. I landed on a very simple design, and received praise for the professionalism of the piece. This was when it clicked that the simple things in art can truly make a difference. A simple logo, a nicely made social media post, even just a nice post card could mean so much to a small business like mine. I started Golden Egg Graphics to put a smile on peoples faces with just a picture, and teach them that a good-looking design can be what sets a business off.
